Scenes from the Stands: Toronto FC vs. Columbus Crew

The decisive second leg of the Eastern Conference Finals took place last night at BMO Field in Toronto and supporters from both clubs rose to the occasion to make it a sellout game. 30,392 fans packed the stadium to watch the action and we’ve found our favorite sights and sounds from the night.

Before the game even started, traveling Columbus supporters traded barbs with home fans about their trophy case while Toronto supporters took it a step further (borderline insensitive?) with taunts of Columbus to Austin.

It also wouldn’t be playoffs without pyro and Toronto is one of the best at it.

In the end, Toronto prevailed on the pitch and moved on to MLS Cup 2017 for a rematch with the Seattle Sounders. Naturally, the fans were excited to have a second shot at taking the trophy home.
